
The upcoming window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers will be the last set of games before the actual tournament in August. Gilas Pilipinas is hosting both games for this window, taking on Lebanon on February 24 and facing Jordan on February 27.
With a huge turnout of hometown fans expected for the final window, both games, which tip off at 6:00 PM, will be held at the largest indoor venue in the country, the Philippine Arena. Prices start at P100 for General Admission tickets. Lower Box tickets will run for P300, while Patron Bronze seats are priced at P1,100. Fans who want to witness the national team up close can opt for courtside level seats. Courtside VIP tickets are priced at P9,800, while Courtside VVIP tickets cost P16,300. Ticket prices are exclusive of SM Tickets service fees.
Fans can also catch the games live on different platforms. Gilas-Lebanon will air on TV5, One Sports+, CPlay, and Smart LiveStream, while Gilas-Jordan will be shown on One Sports, One Sports+, CPlay, and Smart LiveStream.
These two games will be Gilas Pilipinas Men’s first games in the Philippine Arena in four years. The Philippines is looking to close out the Asian Qualifiers with two statement wins in front of Filipino fans. The pool of players for the upcoming window will be led by the newly-naturalized Justin Brownlee, along with Scottie Thompson, Dwight Ramos, and Kai Sotto.
Gilas currently holds the third spot in Group E with a 5-3 record. They can solidify their spot in the group with two wins over top-seeded Lebanon and fourth-seeded Jordan. The three best teams from Groups E and F, along with the Philippines and Japan, will qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.
