Gilas Pilipinas Men and Women are ready to defend their crowns in the 31st Southeast Asian Games 5-on-5 basketball competition. 

Both squads will make their debut on Monday: the men’s team will open their campaign against Thailand at 4:00 PM, while the women’s squad will take on Indonesia at 10:00 AM.

Gilas Men and Women made history by winning gold in the last edition of the SEA Games, which took place in Manila. The women’s team earned their first-ever medal in 5-on-5 basketball while the men’s team secured their 18th gold.
