The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) successfully hosted the National Finals of the reinvigorated Pambansang Tatluhan competitions last weekend at the Gateway Mall 2 in Quezon City.

After intense regional competitions, only the best of the best made it to the last stage where the action got even hotter. In the end, Region 12 claimed the championship in the Boys’ Division, represented by John Medship Garay, Zairyll Prince Cabisada, Alzi Mitchell Monteclaro, and Manuel Ryan Villaruz.

In the Girls’ Division, Region 6 reigned supreme thanks to Thea Mae Cerbo, Alyza Gozon, Izee Lighid, and Ariane Kaye Penaflorida.

Finishing just short of the crown in both divisions were teams from NCR South Johnelijah Luke Rose, Skylze Nicholai Gadong, Leonil Ace Maestral, and Airez Jan Macadangdang claimed the silver for the Boys’ Division and Sofia Martinez, Samantha Stephanie Gloria , Stefi Contreras, and Xyrile Gabriel finishing second on the Girls’ Division.

Region 6 (Boys) and Region 7 (Girls) completed the podium.

Alyza Gozon of Region 6 and Zairyll Cabisabo of Region 12 were named as the Molten Most Valuable Players of the girl’s and boy’s division, respectively.

“Pambansang Tatluhan is really all about giving young basketball players from all over the country an opportunity. After a five-year absence, we restarted this program in 2024 and it’s great to see how much these kids enjoyed the competition,” said the SBP Executive Director. “We want them to get used to playing under the bright lights, in great venues, and with top-level equipment. The SBP believes that this will help our young talent achieve their full potential.”

The Pambansang Tatluhan National Finals were held in partnership with Smart, PLDT, MVP Sports Foundation, Cignal, and Pilipinas Live and supported by the Philippine Sports Commission with Molten as the Official Ball sponsor.

The event was also supported by KFC and Mister Donut, with Gateway Mall 2 and Araneta City as Official Venue Partners.
