The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) is set to submit to the FIBA Management and Administration Platform (MAP) its preliminary roster of players of the Gilas Pilipinas Men’s Team bound to play away games for Window 5 of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Qualifiers. These players are :

The team has been conducting once a week practices every Monday since mid-September. It will take advantage of the long weekend break and practice for three (3) consecutive days: Monday, October 31; Tuesday, November 01; and Wednesday, November 02.
The team is set to leave on the evening of Monday, November 07, 2022, for their Jordan game on Thursday, November 10, 2022. They will then proceed to Saudi Arabia for their Sunday, November 13, 2022 game against the Saudis.
