Justin Brownlee will still lead Gilas Pilipinas in their upcoming game against Jordan in the sixth window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers.
Gilas coach Chot Reyes only made one lineup adjustment as Kevin Quiambao replaces Calvin Oftana in the final 12.
June Mar Fajardo, Jordan Heading, Jamie Malonzo, Ray Parks, CJ Perez, Dwight Ramos, Thirdy Ravena, Kiefer Ravena, Scottie Thompson, and Mason Amos complete the roster.
The Philippine team earned a dominant 107-96 win over Lebanon last Friday. Five other players breached double figures including Malonzo, who had 15 points, and youngster Amos, who notched 13 in his Gilas debut.
Gilas’ offense was clicking on all cylinders against Lebanon as they racked up 31 assists and hit 17 triples, tying the record for most 3-pointers in a single World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers game.
The Philippines is currently third in Group E with a 6-3 record. Gilas will face Jordan on Monday, February 27, at 6:00 PM at the Philippine Arena.
