Who is part of the Gilas Men pool?
The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) announced the preliminary roster last month for the upcoming window.
Headlining the 24-man pool is newly naturalized Filipino player Justin Brownlee, who is coming off another stellar Finals performance where he led Ginebra to the PBA Commissioner’s Cup, winning his sixth PBA title.
Joining Brownlee are PBA standouts CJ Perez, Chris Newsome, Jamie Malonzo, Roger Pogoy, Calvin Oftana, Arvin Tolentino, Japeth Aguilar, Raymond Almazan, six-time PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo, and reigning MVP Scottie Thompson.
International players Kai Sotto, Jordan Heading, Thirdy and Kiefer Ravena, Ray Parks, Dwight Ramos, and Carl Tamayo are also in the mix. Ange Kouame, the team’s other naturalized center, is also included in the pool, as well as youngsters Kevin Quiambao and Francis Lopez.
The pool also welcomed an injection of new blood with the addition of UAAP stars Schonny Winston, Jerom Lastimosa, and Gilas Youth standout Mason Amos.
What is Gilas Men’s record in the Qualifiers?
